An .adoc file is a signed document from Lithuania. Here is how to open it, and what the OkoSign checker can and cannot read.

## What an .adoc file is

An .adoc file is a format for signed documents used in Lithuania, made by the Lithuanian e-signature tools.

## How to open it

Open it with the Lithuanian e-signature tools, which are free. They show the documents inside and who signed. Other signed packages, such as .asice files, open in DigiDoc4.

## Can OkoSign check it?

The checker reads .pdf, .asice and .edoc files today. Try your .adoc: if it holds a standard signed package, you will see the signatures. If not, the checker says so, and nothing is kept.
