Sign it. Send it. Smart-ID does the rest.
Qualified electronic signatures, the kind that count the same as signing by hand anywhere in the EU. The other person needs no account. Your first 10 signatures every month are free.
No card. Sign up with your e-mail or Google. Signatures made with eParaksts, Mobile-ID or an ID card are welcome too for a package (.edoc/.asice); a PDF on its own is signed with Smart-ID for now.

Three ways to sign, one signed file
A signature is only useful if everyone can actually make one. So there are three ways in, and all three end in the same signed file that anyone can check.
Smart-ID, two taps
Open the link, press Sign with Smart-ID, enter PIN2. On a phone the Smart-ID app opens by itself. One PIN covers every document in the envelope.
Their own software
eParakstītājs, DigiDoc4, an ID card, eParaksts Mobile. They download, sign, upload. We check the signature and that nothing changed. This works for a package (.edoc/.asice); a PDF on its own is signed with Smart-ID for now.
Through an assistant
Tell ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or your own agent to get it signed. It prepares and sends. Your phone still asks you for PIN2.
What we do differently
Signing portals in the Baltics were built for offices that sign all day. Most people sign a few things a month and want it over with.

Your assistant can get it signed
Draft the contract in a chat, then say who signs. The assistant makes the PDF, asks your phone for your signature and sends it on. It tells you when the other side has signed.
https://app.okosign.com/mcpAn assistant can prepare and send. It can never sign: that takes your PIN2, on your phone.

Questions people ask first
Is a Smart-ID signature legally valid?
Yes. Smart-ID makes a qualified electronic signature. Under the EU’s eIDAS regulation it has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature in every member state.
Does the other person need Smart-ID or an account?
No account, ever. They need some way to make a qualified signature: Smart-ID, or their own software with an ID card, eParaksts or Mobile-ID for a package (.edoc/.asice). A PDF on its own is signed with Smart-ID for now.
What if OkoSign disappears?
Nothing happens to your documents. The signature lives inside the file, not on our servers. Anyone can check it in DigiDoc4, on eparaksts.lv or with the EU’s own validator.
Can an AI assistant sign for me?
No. It can prepare a document and send it. Signing needs PIN2 on your own phone, every time.
What counts as one signature?
One person signing one envelope you sent, however many documents are in it. Declined or unsigned requests cost nothing.
What happens after my 10 free signatures?
They start again next month. To send more before then, invite a friend and you each get 10 more, or go Pro for €7 a month and cancel whenever you like. Signing what others send you never counts.
