What Dokobit charges for and we include
- Signing without an account. At OkoSign the other person opens the link and signs, on every plan. At Dokobit this is a paid feature: on its free plan each signer uses up their own free signatures.
- Reminders and deadlines. On every OkoSign plan, Free included. At Dokobit they come with the paid plans, starting with the €10 plan.
- Checking a signed file. Free at OkoSign, with no account, and it never counts as a signature. Dokobit charges €0.28 a check.
What stays the same
- Both make qualified electronic signatures with Smart-ID. They have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature in every EU country.
- Both give you standard signed files: a PDF or an ASiC-E container. Anyone can open and check them in DigiDoc4, on eparaksts.lv or with the EU’s own validator, without either service.
