What an .asice file is
An .asice file is a signed package in the EU's standard form. The documents and their signatures sit together in one file. Estonia and Lithuania use it every day. Latvia calls the same kind of file .edoc.
Open it in your browser
Use the OkoSign checker. Choose your file and you see who signed it, when, and whether each signature is qualified. You need no account, and nothing is kept.
Open it with DigiDoc4
DigiDoc4 is the free program from id.ee. Install it, then open the .asice file in it. It lists the signatures and the documents inside.
Get the documents out
The checker shows who signed and which files are in the package. To save the documents, open the package in DigiDoc4 or eParakstītājs. Keep the .asice file as well: the signatures live in it, and it is the proof.
