Car sale contract (Estonia)
A contract for selling a used car from one person to another. It records the car, the price and the handover, so both of you know what was agreed and the buyer can register the car in their name.
Who signs
- The seller
- The buyer
What you fill in
- Both parties — names, personal codes and addresses
- The car — make, model, year, VIN and registration number
- The odometer reading — on the day of the sale
- The price — how much, and how and when it is paid
- The handover — the date and the place
- Known faults — anything the seller knows is wrong with the car
- What is handed over — the registration certificate, keys, spare tyres and other documents
